Michael (Mick to his friends) McGuckin, a local chef and the creator of Smoke & Mirror Cakes, an online bakery specialising in Mirror cakes is working with Tryst to create exciting food combinations and recpies incorporating our range of beers.

Hopetoun Farm Shop, meet the brewer

It was rainy and damp outside, but inside the Farm Shop on Hopetoun House Estate everyone was getting in the festive spirit as the Christmas shopping had begun.

The ‘meet the brewer’ session was to showcase the trio of ales that Tryst produce for Hopetoun which are sold at the Farm Shop. Customers were invited to sample these, stop and to talk to the team about how we make the beers.

Raj IPA crowned CAMRA Champion Beer of Scotland 2016

As the title has given away, we have some very exciting news. At the recent CAMRA flagship event, the Scottish Real Ale Festival, our own Raj IPA was named CAMRA Champion Beer of Scotland. This is not the first time Raj IPA has picked up awards, having been a winner in its own class on more than one occasion. However, this is the first time Raj has claimed the title of overall champion at such a prestigious event. We would like to express our thanks to all the volunteers, organisers, and drinkers at the Scottish Real Ale Festival, along with the panel of blind tasters who chose our Raj IPA out of a range of tough competition.
